This one just wasn‘t for me I‘m afraid. I found the narrative overblown and annoying, and the “romantic” relationship between the main characters Ethan and Jorie just creepy. I finished it, but nearly didn‘t.

I‘ve never read Alice Hoffman but see she gets lots of Litsy love so was pleased to find this on the charity book table at my local supermarket, for a Q9 donation (hence why it‘s a little bruised and battered!) Three chapters in I‘m not sure I like her writing style yet, but I‘m hoping I‘ll settle into it. Have you read this? Do you recommend?
