Pickpick

Doing some light reading at the library. Julie Flett's illustrations are perfect, as usual. I don't think the library has any more of her work after this. This is my first time reading Catherine Jameson and the story is lovely. It reminds me of Are You My Mother? but with indigenous characters. The Okanagan translations for animals were great, but I wish there was a translation guide. Recommended for sure.
