Day 60 (Audible edition)
I don't normally like to bail on a book once I've started it, but this audio is not holding my attention at all. If it wasn't so long I'd just suck it up, but time to move on.
Continuing to grab a couple minutes for me when I can. State of Mind seemed an appropriate choice for today...
PS: this book is even better than expected. Weaving through stories like the stands of a net. It's closing in on someone, something... but who? what?
My house has been taken over by children. My niece and nephew are staying with us for five days, plus of course my two little ones. They arrived on Friday. Overnight my husband developed an AWFUL flu, so all weekend was just me taking care of everyone. I'm exhausted. So, while the littlest one naps I'm letting the others play video games and watch tv so that I can grab a few moments of me time. I love them all, but I can't wait until Wednesday!!!
1. My last vacation was camping in Killbear Provincial Park.
2. Comfort food: KD
3. Bucket last destination: Peru. Lares Route or Chaski Trail to Machu Picchu
4. Currently reading: 419 by Will Ferguson (physical) and Sleeping Giants by @Neuvel (kobo)
5. Preferred reading medium: I always have both a physical and an e-book underway.
Dear Sir, I am the daughter of a Nigerian diplomat, and I need your help...
