I am having vacations in U.S. So of course I have to go to an indie store. I found this gem. It even has the autograph. So far so good. #booksandbooks
☝️This is the chapter title that showed up on my Kindle in bold, 18-point font while I was at the gym reading on the elliptical. I just kept it up. Let it linger a while.
so-soI wanted to love this because it's described as being comparable to an Augusten Burroughs or David Sedaris book, but it's not. There are some humorous essays, but a chunk are just the author reminiscing on porn nostalgia throughout his life. It was a quick read though, so there's that. Side note: if you read this and aren't kind of disturbed by his deceased father, you're a stronger person than I. 🤷🏼♀️ #NetGalley #ARC
