Stopped at a used bookshop this morning to pick up Titus Andronicus for the #shakespearereadalong. But couldn't resist also buying these 1981 editions of Alan Garner's middle grade fantasies. After reading The Owl Service, I'm game to read more of his work.

Bookwomble Great covers, great stories ❤ I live about an hour's drive from Alderly Edge , where Brisingamen and Gomrath are set, but I've not visited yet, despite wanting to for 40 years - I'll have to make it happen soon! 4y
