Not what I expected. It was sort of...fluffy considering it was about demonic possession 😂 While reading it, all I could think was that this would have been a better Netflix movie than a book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I picked up this book while I was traveling up and down the aisles at Book Expo. A woman saw me and made a comment about ”not messing with demons”. As if a fictional character has that much power to create chaos in your life. Fat chance. I‘m rating this book three out of five stars. #thegooddemon #jimmycaloleas
One all time favorite holiday is Halloween. I love the costumes and the candy of course, but because horror is my all time fave, the month of October and Halloween make me soooo happy. I spend the month watching horror movies and this year I‘m taking part in @4thhouseontheleft #screamathon. Here‘s my tbr stack for the month, missing are City of Ghosts which my friend has to get signed for me today and Small Spaces by Katherine Arden.
Unique but odd. Desperate. It had it's good moments but was overall mediocre.
I won‘t lie this is a cover hate and not a cover love, but sometimes we have to look past a bad cover. This cover reads adult literary to me. I bet it gets changed for paperbacks.

While reading, I had the same thoughts that you get watching a horror movie; I adore that anticipatory lump in my throat as you mentally prepare for a good jump scare. You know, how you start to suspect one thing and then something worse happens? That's this book- delightfully creepy.
A girl who has been exorcised wants to be reconnected with her demon. Yes, please!!!!
