The first in this Chance of a Lifetime series was a pick, and I‘m moving right on to the second in this trilogy.
Saturday impulse purchase. Interestingly the cover in the kindle library is different to the one you get when you click to read it.
Charming and funny, a bit dark too. These characters have significant challenges but they may be exactly what the other person needs 😄 Work is crazy right now, thank goodness for an HEA!
A pick with some reservations. I think my hopes were too high from reading rave reviews. I really liked the story and thought it was well-paced. I liked the characters in theory but felt a bit disconnected from them. It seemed I was told more about them through others‘ observations than I learned when reading in their perspective. Still, I‘ll be keeping my eye out for more from Kate Clayborn.

This book surprised me in how good it ended up being. I‘m starts fairly slow and the journey our two main characters go on is slow paced. The pacing made me switch to other books several times. I set the task to finish it this weekend and did not regret the time reading. The pacing makes sense as you continue their unlikely journey to love. Definitely recommend if you enjoy the not so typical #romantsy
This book has slightly slow pacing, but now about half way through our main characters are enjoying some amusing shenanigans. #romantsy
