I gave up on my previous book because I couldn't get into it. Now I am picking up one I know I am sure to enjoy. I have adored every book I have read by this author so I can't imagine this one will let me down.

#bookmail from earlier this week. I only preordered because the author was signing books if ordered from her local indie. I don‘t need a signed book but it‘s so cool she did it to help a small book store. Plus the dragon stamp is fun.

I rarely preorder books. I lived in town where the only bookstore closed down so I go to my local as much as possiable. Is it‘s a BN and my old town it was a Walden‘s but knowing that the physical stores need sales to remain I shop at them and do t care that I pay more than online. To me it‘s worth it.

But Jodi Meadows was helping out her local indi and did a special preorder promo if you ordered from that indi. Part one is here. 👇🏻

LibrarianRyan This was the standard preorder package and it has more then was mentioned. There is a bookmark for each book in the series, a map with a quote on the back, a dragon illustration with the book cover on the back, two stickers, and a signed name plate. Since I did the preorder from the authors local Indy bookstore , the book will come signed but will be about a week or so after publication. I think some of the extras were because I get Owlcrate 6y

LibrarianRyan @JazzFeathers I totally get it. There is a new bookstore down town that just opened up. But I think it‘s a used bookstore. Maybe I should do that over lunch. 😁 6y
