USA TODAY bestselling author Sheila Roberts returns with a brand-new series set on the charming Washington coast Once happily married, Jenna Jones is about to turn forty, and this year for her birthday—lucky her—she’s getting a divorce. She’s barely able to support herself and her teenage daughter, but now her deadbeat artist ex is hitting her up for spousal support…and then spending it on his “other” woman. Still, as her mother always says, every storm brings a rainbow. And when she gets a very unexpected gift from her great-aunt Edie, things seem to be taking a turn for the better. Aging Aunt Edie is finding it difficult to keep up her business running The Driftwood Inn, so she invites Jenna to come live with her and run the place. It looks like Jenna’s financial problems are solved! Or not. The town is a little more run-down than Jenna remembers, but that’s nothing compared to the ramshackle state of The Driftwood Inn. Aunt Edie is confident they can return it to its former glory, though Jenna feels like she’s jumped from the proverbial frying pan into the beach fire. But who knows? With the help of her new friends and a couple of handsome citizens, perhaps that rainbow is on the horizon after all. Because, no matter what, life is always good at the beach. Featuring all the warmth, romance and trademark humor of Sheila Roberts’s writing, this new series will delight longtime fans and welcome a generation of new readers.

Day 5 of #Top20Series is the Moonlight Harbor series by Sheila Robert's. There are now 4 books out so far and they are really easy and fun fiction. There is small romance but nothing really more then a kiss or at the end, if that, so nothing sexy. 😉 Highly recommend this series!

Andrew65 Thanks for the recommendation, quite like romance books providing sex not portrayed in them. 4y
tracey38 @Andrew65 these don't have set. And they focus more on the individual and even the town. I want to move to this fictional town! 4y

Finished this one just now. The first in the Moonlight Harbor series (though I have already read book 3). A lighthearted novel which I needed as I have been a bit down lately. I enjoyed this little seaside town and it's people. I have the next book ready to go but might pick up a suspense one now. I can't decide.

Well, halfway through this one. It's a quick read but I feel like I haven't had time to really read much. Last two weekends I have been dogsitting for my dad. Then this week my uncle stayed with us. I finally have a free weekend to relax and read and catch up on #jb and #LitsyLove mail!

Sheila Roberts is on my auto-buy list. I‘m excited for a new series! This is a great story and set up of the town for the rest of the series. It‘s about a women recovering for a divorce, with a teenage daughter who is not happy about much or anything, and a motel that needs a lot of money. Can‘t wait for the next one. #readwomen #romantsy

This book is everything I expect from a new Sheila Roberts novel: a heartwarming, sweet, romantic story set in a charming small town, full of interesting residents. As Jenna Jones adjusts to her new life in Moonlight Harbor, I so enjoyed seeing the drama play out and getting to know the characters and their everyday struggles. I‘m excited to see where this series goes next.

(I received a free copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.)
