I watched this scene on television and thought it was hilarious! Do I need to read the book?

NeedsMoreBooks This is one of my favorite shows. Didn‘t know that it was a tie-in 😊 (edited) 5y

Pickpick

The psychological aspect of this book seemed almost fantastical...but then also horrifying and probably possible. The team was very much in line with the characterizations from the show, though sometimes I had my doubts about what they would say/do. I like that they leaned a lot more on Keen's role as a profiler than the TV show (maybe it was just more explicit?). I enjoyed it thoroughly! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

jb72 How did I not know there were books?!?! I love that show! James Spader is excellent in that role. 5y
LogiKitty @jb72 I only discovered it AFTER watching all the seasons that were on Netflix! There are apparently a few of them as well as some comics. I'm obsessed and 100% agree! James Spader is brilliant as a career criminal! 5y

"The group leader created distress, blamed it on the new member to create feelings of guilt, then offered both a solution to the distress and a physical reward when the member applied the solution." Manipulation at it's finest!

1. Oof. Anything about EDEN/The Eden Project or Dermot Kennedy!
2. I love winter - it's so cozy when California actually gets our version of winter 😂 aka 60 degrees F.
3. That's tough. Either young adult or dystopian! (Or young adult dystopian)
4. I had breakfast for lunch! Eggs, sausage, and toasted cheesy bread!

Haven't read the books but love this TV show! Redington always delivers great lines love the character & I think James Spader is amazing in this role.

ShookBelf Didn't know it was a series of books. Used to really enjoy watching The Blacklist and James Spacer was just sublime. 7y
