I apologize @Cinfhen , first because you sent this to me two years ago and I just now (kind of) read it , and second because alas, I couldn‘t finish it.

This is the well researched account of the first American hostage situation, missionary Ellen Stone in 1901. I‘m sure the hostage situation was fascinating, but the focus was too heavy on the political situation between Bulgaria/Macedonia/Turkey and I got bored with it.

Cinfhen It‘s cool, I couldn‘t make it through either😬In theory it should have been awesome but something was DEFINITELY OFF. Put in in the FLL 😘 4y

Reviewsbylola I made it 100 pages and realized I didn‘t realize even care what happened. At least not enough to read 120 more pages. So I looked up what happened on Wikipedia. 😂 @Cinfhen 4y

I woke up to a wonderful surprise from the amazing @Cinfhen today. The tagged book, a card, and two little goody boxes for Genevieve and Florence. Megabooks @Cinfhen It really took me getting into audiobooks before I started reading NF frequently. Now I read it in all formats and at least one a month. Usually it‘s more like a third of my total. I‘m doing well this month: all 6 of my finished books are NF! Happy Friday! 😁 6y
