This books follows members of the Sioux on a North Dakota reservation. It starts in the 1980s going back to the 1800s. It‘s a story about family, love and tradition.
I highly recommend it.

Compelling stuff: interlinked short stories set amongst over one hundred years of the North Dakota Sioux.

A Tighes Hill Book Club book from 2011. Unfortunately I am no longer a member of my first book club. They were an intelligent bunch and I miss them and the community garden we used to meet in.
I was obsessed with Native American culture in high school so I enjoyed the mysticism of this book.
