It's hard to believe this was published one year before the better known meteor novel, Lucifer's Hammer. While the Niven/Pournelle novel was like an Irwin Allen disaster movie, this was much smaller, following a smaller group of people trying to survive a killer meteor storm. It's so quaint and "English" it feels like something written in the 1950s. 3 ??? 1/2
