It starts out kind of slow...with some typical high school kind of drama and just past the halfway mark is when things get interesting. This is a story about a girl stuck in witness protection...who just wants to stop running every time someone might be getting too close to the truth. Also, if you‘re like me and you feel like aspects of this would never play out in RL, just stick with it, it will all make sense, eventually.
pickThis book was awesome! It was fast paced, suspenseful, & had a couple of nice surprises in store for the reader. The main character is in her senior year of high school - & the witness protection program. She just wants to keep her head down, blend in, & make it through the last 6 weeks of school so she can attend college and leave the program forever. But as long forgotten memories start to resurface, other demons from her past come back as well.
Just getting settled down with a new book. I‘m currently reading my shelves, and this one jumped out at me. So far, so good.
My actual #bookends suck because I have just a few tiny bookcases, piles of books in the corner of my room, small shelves on the wall, and my ARCs in subscriptions book boxes (with lids ripped off, usually stacked, as well as under the bed).
My one small red bookcase starts with some of my favorite books that I‘ve read, and ends with newer ones on my TBR. No real rhyme or reason to order.

pickThis book was incredible! Starts out as normal as a thriller can start. There‘s a girl with a problem, she‘s alternating between a traumatic event she witnessed and her present situation. Then out of NOWHERE, BAM! You kind of expect she will have to face off with the bad guy but the author adds in so many twists, you are genuinely shocked by the web woven by the characters. Definitely a great summer read. #summerRead #thriller

If I don‘t, you‘ll never know how completely wrong things can go. How one decision can change everything. When it comes down to it, you can‘t trust anyone. You never know when the person sitting next to you isn‘t who they claim to be...and there are worse things than disappearing.
