I‘m confused with the movie adaptation of this film. I liked the book, I read the English version and watched the Spanish version movie. But I don‘t know if the English version movie follows the book plot? Or maybe it‘s different🤷🏽‍♀️The Spanish movie adaptation is pretty similar to the book.

Eggs Great choice 👍🏼🤩👏🏻 11mo

An attempt to read a book in (Argentinian) Spanish. This might take a while…

I saw the audiobook was free and decided to read the book. I really enjoyed this one. Benjamin Chaparro decides to write a book to manage his retirement idleness. He will write about a crime case that occurred more than 20 years ago which he investigated. It has two time lines and I liked that slow character driven writing style. It has that existentialist tone about life. There is a good movie adaptation but with different end. 4⭐️

Gissy The novel has an open ending in case you don‘t like that type of books. The title in Spanish is La Pregunta de sus Ojos.

What to say about this one... I‘ve been so excited about this book after watching the movie trailer featuring Julia Roberts. It looked SO GOOD! I didn‘t even bother to read the blurb on the back of the book. Turns out the Americanized remake was a totally different story than the Argentinian original. Although not what I expected, once I got over the mild confusion, I found that I enjoyed the twists and turns of this murder mystery.

I have been working against any labor laws for the last weeks, so my reading time is suffering a lot. Today I made a point of taking time to cat something nice and read during lunch
