This book bills itself as being on par with The Davinci Code. I didn‘t find it as engaging as that novel, and found this one hard to get into. About 150-200 pages in, it really started to pick up. That increased pacing redeemed the story but not enough for me to strongly recommend the book. It was certainly an intriguing storyline. I didn‘t see the twists coming at the end, but that could be because I just was trying to finish the book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

My current situation. ❤️📚 Unfortunately, I‘ll have to get up soon to take a kid to the doctor, and there will be chores when we get back.... I wish I could do this all day.

Starting this one for my book club. It gets mixed reviews, but it seems like there will be a lot to discuss...we shall see! ❤️📚

Eh. I just finished this bc of entropy really.

Too much gratuitous orgasmic conversation, and an unnecessarily complicated denouement.

These five in the Hoopla app, plus two more library holds in the Overdrive app. 😂 It's fine, I can totally listen to seven books in 2 weeks. 😜 #bookwormproblems

There were parts about this book that I really liked and others that made it feel like a chore to read. Every time it went to the letters, because it was in "Ye Olde English" it was hard to understand and really slowed down the plot.

Another literal interpretation of #shadows because so many shadows look like silhouettes. I love a good mystery book but I haven't read this one yet.
