I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it (some I‘ve had so long I don‘t even remember why!). Feel free to join in!

A mysterious stranger, pilfering and robbery, romance, and illness make up the incidents in this winter.
Another nostalgic trip back to the countryside in 1961.

I‘ve decided that 2019 will be the year that I try some of the Miss Read books. Is anyone else a fan?

Snow, snow and more snow is in the forecast for us. So a cozy weekend inside is the plan. I‘ll be surrounding myself with creature comforts: the last Valentine‘s Day blooms (I‘m always so sad to see them fade), a new mulberry tea, and the coziest of reads, another Thrush Green novel for the #MissReadAlong. I can‘t think of anything more charming than a book about an English village, when I‘m curled up inside, due to temperamental weather.
