💙💙 Indigo & Drew. Plus things are heating up in San Francisco between 'Pure Psy' and everyone else.

Confession: part of my really wanted the first book I reviewed in 2019 to be something other than a paranormal romance. Then I slapped myself silly because moving internationally is hard & these are a great stress reads so here we are! A qualified Pick. PoP (horrible title 🤦🏻‍♀️) falls in the middle of Nalini Singh‘s Psy-Changeling series which is written with an overarching story. Character development is extreme & she ruthlessly continues ⬇️

GlassAsDiamonds storylines through the books. I do find some of the characters in the early novels highly irritating (they grow) but it‘s still probably best read in order and practically, you will be annoyed by a lot of tangential information without a deeper grounding in the world. The book itself is Indigo and Drew‘s story. It‘s a little one sided and the development takes a while but I tell you what, for action HEA escapism, this series is second to none. (edited) 6y

I love this one, and it's still my favourite in the series.
The main characters are strong and work through their issues and vulnerability together, and are such a great couple. The charm assault always works ☺

The story-arc is also beginning its peak with the main players in the city coming together. All in all a great book in the series 🐺🌹🍰💙

"Leaning down, Andrew kissed the top of his sister's head. 'I love you.' It was a smiling statement but no less true for it. 'I love you, too,' Brenna said, 'even if you are driving Indigo so insane, she's starting to snap at everyone in the den. Did you really steal her phone and record your voice howling her name as the ringtone?'
'Maybe.'"

I do love Drew. He's so funny. Along with an assault of roses and Hershey's kisses, who could resist? ❤❤️

Taking some time to try the drinking fudge I got for Christmas (I have gone for the chocolate caramel version) and read a good book!

This is one of my favourites in the Psy-Changeling series 😌

I don't read many romances, I just tend to lean toward fantasy and action. However a lot of the urban fantasy series have romance, and paranormal romance is one of my fave genres (as you can probably guess by my read through of Nalini and my unabashed love for Kelley Armstrong, Patricia Briggs among others)

Play of Passion is sweet and the mating dance playful and tender. Drew is one of my favourites 💕

melissanorr Drew is such a great character! 8y
