Not even close to the strongest in the series, it picked up in the second half but I‘m tired of miraculous cures, instant love and last minute heroics. Still sticking with the series to see where it goes, and it‘s decent brain candy. 👍🏼👍🏼1/2
So this is book 7 in the series and I am struggling with this one, it‘s like the fourth time I‘ve downloaded it from Libby and I‘m determined to power through this time. I‘m just not a fan of these characters. But Singh is doing a major series story arc that I want to follow, so I have to read in order and I neeeed to finish this one. Give me strength, friends. 💪🏼
This book mostly focuses on Devraj Santos, one of the forgotten and leader of Shine. When a Psy woman is left outside his house, beaten, and with no memory of who she is, Dev finds himself falling for someone who may have been purposely made to play on his weaknesses.
The Forgotten are developing powers distinctive from those of the Psy. Some of which Shine and the Forgotten are ill equipped to control, and the Psy council would kill for. 💕❤️
"The answer," Judd said, "is that so long as Xavier believes in God, he can believe that Nina lives, that she somehow survived." ?
There are so many #supernaturalbeings I could go with for this challenge. So I decided to go with the Changelings in the Psy-Changeling series. Kind of similar to werewolves or shape shifters, Changelings are able to change into an animal (there are several packs of both predator and prey species) but it is much quicker and in a shower of rainbows which is pretty beautiful 😌

"But it kills something in the individual and in the group. The PsyNet...it's beautiful, but it's dying, but by slow bit. How could it not? We give it nothing but emptiness."
I have a furry reading buddy today ☺️
Just one more chapter before bed...
I kind of miss hiding under the covers with a torch to finish a book. 🔦
This comes close though!
