The Miser of Mayfair
The Miser of Mayfair | M. C. Beaton
3 posts | 4 read | 5 to read
Is Number 67 Clarges Steet the unluckiest house in Mayfair? Salvation seems to come in the form of Roderick Sinclair who rents the house for the current season. The staff are overjoyed until they find that Sinclair is a miser who is planning no parties. Furthermore, his ward, Fiona, doesn't seem to possess one bright idea in her head.

Pickpick

Fluff, but entertaining fluff. And I love narrator #LindyNettleton!

VanChocStrawberry Her books are fun listens—and usually fairly short. 6y

Still on my Beaton audiobook kick, and my obsession shows no signs of ebbing.

How sweet are the striped backs of these MC Beaton books? I previously had fun with the ‘Poor Relations Hotel‘ and ‘School For Manners‘ series, so am getting started on the ‘House for the Season‘ ones.
