Today's #DecemberChill moment was getting out into the cold and greeting the big man in style at our local parade! Last minute changes to guidelines meant they were able to run a real parade this year after taking 2020 off. Hot chocolate was flowing, Kids were excited, everyone was happy and cheerful.

Hey, friends!

My already slow reading always turns glacial around the holidays, but I finished 3 books TODAY and I‘m gonna review them all later.

Anyways, here‘s a picture of my 93 year old grandfather, R. C., (who I still, as a grown man, call Paw Paw Buck) being the Grand Marshall of the Christmas Parade in the tiny North Carolina mountain town of Sparta.

4⭐️ Boynton creates masterpieces. The has a way with cadence and sing song style that just rolls of the tongue. Plus with all the sound and movement actions these books are perfect for story time. This maybe the christmas parade, but it works almost all year long.
