My timer reset when my phone restarted 😪 but I did finish the 1st book for the #20in4 #readathon 😁

It was a pretty good book, too. It was more of a character study than it was a plot driven thriller. I really liked the characters, they were well fleshed out and interesting.

A slower read, one to savor. The heartbreaking human emotions and relationships are more important than the murder mystery in this novel.

I‘m halfway through THE OTHER SIDE OF EVERYTHING & can‘t seem to put it down! The mystery has kept me on my toes, but what I‘ve loved most about the book, is the human tie/factor between each of the characters. There is an emotional depth to each of their stories, & recent critical reviews state, this is what stands out the most in the book. I can‘t wait to finish up the last 100 pages. Owens is definitely an author, I‘ll be keeping my eye on!
