Ivy Morgan hasn't been feeling like herself lately. Not like anyone can blame her. After all, being held captive by a psychotic fae prince hell-bent on permanently opening the gates to the Otherworld is bound to leave some mental scars. It's more than that, though. Something dark and insidious is spreading throughout Ivy, more powerful than she could ever imagine... and it's coming between her and the man she's fallen deeply in love with, elite Order member Ren Owens. Ren would do anything to keep Ivy safe. Anything. But when he makes a life altering choice for her, the fallout of his act has far reaching consequences that threaten to tear their lives apart. If Ivy is going to have any hope of surviving this, she must put aside the hurt and betrayal she feels, and work with not only those she loves, but with an enemy she would rather kill than ever trust. War is coming, and it soon becomes clear that what Ivy and Ren thought they knew about the Order, themselves, and even their enemies, has been nothing but a cluster of dangerous, deadly lies. Ivy knows she must be more than just brave to save those she loves--and, ultimately, to save herself. Because behind every evil fae Prince, there's a Queen....

I still really liked the continued plot, but I found the first half to be slow and a bit repetitive, however ablit halfway through the pace really picks up. At first Ivy was a bit annoying in this particular book, but then she gets her act together and becomes the Ivy we know and is even a bit ruthless. The romance is cuter on this book, and I love how supportive Ren is. Overall the ending was satisfying but not everything is wrapped up perfectly.

Now my #bookspin 🎉🎉 I got through this trilogy so quickly! One of those easy a little predictable NA fantasy romances. Fae, fae hunters, and silly pop culture references again. I like Ren and Ivy but yet again the shining character is Tink! I was laughing out loud while reading! #bookspinbingo

Last of the trilogy. I think I‘m going to start it next month. I have too many series on my shelf right now.
I‘m trying to reacquaint myself with my TBR while on a book buying ban for the month.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Brave takes place right after Torn. Ivy must deal with how to become herself again due to what went down and happened to her over the course of the series. There was a lot of action and romance in this book. It puts you on the edge of your seat. I gave this book four stars because I didn‘t feel like the ending was as satisfying as it should have been. Everything didn‘t feel like it tied up as well as it should have been.

Also finished this one early last week as an audio. The third in this trilogy. I can't say much without giving away spoilers, but this was a really great trilogy! Loved the characters, especially Ren and Tink. I can see where this storyline could continue but am not sure if she plans to write more in this world. I think there are a few novellas set in this world I may look for.

Slajaunie Is this a vampire book? 5y
tracey38 Not a vampire book. It is a Fae trilogy. 5y

I was surprised to see that the release of this book was so sudden (and I say that because I haven‘t had the time to spend as many hours as I liked on Amazon this past few months). I was so happy to learn that there was going to be a third book to this series (which I have loved since the begging). I always loved her writing and I will always. And this book did not disappoint. ♥️
