This is a page-turner of a YA mystery about a girl named Pearl who works hard to figure out who murdered the Garrisons, one of the rich families who summer in Tenney‘s Harbour. To do so, she has to cross the great divide between rich and poor and befriend the remaining Garrison, Tristan, and his friends. Well-written, fully realized characters and a kick ass denouement.

Book hauls make me so happy.

After a tragedy in a small town, a teen deals with the accusations toward her father and her attraction to the son of the dead. She feels her life would change if she could just solve the mystery.

I really enjoyed the characters, story build, wit etc. I was telling friends how great it was so far & they should pick it up ASAP! I found myself thinking “ok, it‘s totally obvious that this happened (most of book is post dramatic questionable event). So GF‘s books are usually twisty, it‘s gotta be something else!” But then the totally obvious was what happened. Unsure how else to describe it. I was disappointed in the ending. I wanted more twist

Pretty good. Read it in a few hours

This is a YA Mystery/Thriller. It took me a while to get into it, but once I did I didn't want to put it down because, I wanted to know who really sit the fire to the Garrisons house. I kinda had an idea who maybe behind the fire. I just didn't know why they wanted to kill a whole family the way they did. This is my first book in the #24b4monday readathon. I am pretty sure that I won't get the whole 24 hours in but we shall see!

YA mystery/thriller. A girl in a beach town hangs out with the rich boys to try and figure out who is responsible for a killing the previous year that people are blaming on her alcoholic dad. Moves quickly but the not a lot of depth.
