This was an interesting story 🤔. Corbin was so different from any other character I've read before. I was a little lost at certain parts of the story but I enjoyed the connection these two had.

Got a lot done today and I am treating myself to laying down and reading. First up was finishing this wintery, dreamy romance! Made me want some fresh baked treats.
I love how Roan Parrish‘s books aren‘t just one thing. THE REMAKING OF CORBIN WALE is an ambiguously magical small business culinary Chanukah romance, and it succeeds at each of those subgenres. I love the food, I love the fledgling cafe, I love the holiday spirit, I love how the characters connect on their own terms, and I love how Corbin‘s magic works. Is it real to anyone but him? Parrish handles it well as she digs into his worldview.
A little weird, but fantastical and lyrical. Corbin is different from just about any character I've ever seen before.
This was the sweetest off-beat lgbtq 🏳️🌈 romance. Steamy in places but mostly genuinely sweet and light. Thanks for the recommendation, Litsy world 🌎. I can't remember whose TBR list I stole this from, but it was a lucky steal. I especially needed this after being stuck in the vortex of melancholy created by Call Me By Your Name.
