19 posts | 2 read | 1 to read
"Yes" or "No," from the #1 New York Times bestselling author Spencer Johnson, presents a brilliant and practical system anyone can use to make better decisions, soon and often -- both at work and in personal life. The "Yes" or "No" System lets us: focus on real needs, versus mere wants create better options see the likely consequences of choices and identify and then use our own integrity, intuition, and insight to gain peace of mind, self-confidence, and freedom from fear

Yay or Nay??

I mean love the the book pillar but leaning your sneaker against a book...NOPE 😩

Coleen 🤭 6y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa Nope! I always love these architecturally, the pillars, Christmas trees, counters made of books... but inside I cringe a bit, what if I need that book on the bottom? 6y
Prairiegirl_reading No to all of this!! 6y
Libby1 😱 6y
olivia.ferz I would be so tempted to take out a book from the bottom! 😋 6y

Kaye Good for you 💪. You can do it. I‘ve read a few of those whoppers but it‘s been a long time. Happy reading. 7y

Sorry, I guess I'm just going to do these all day 😂
1. Yes
2. I used to, I need to start going again!
3. 😓 I once intentionally kept a book an extra night because I wasn't done and the fee is only $0.30.
4. Very rarely and only in dire bookmark droughts.
5. I try, and frequently fail. It has to be very good to keep my attention for that long tbh.

Reviewsbylola I‘ve kept library books a few days extra to finish them too. And now my library has done away with fees! 7y
tysephine @Reviewsbylola that's cool! I wish my library would do that. 10-year-old me racked up a $25 fine somehow and was scared to go back. I think I stayed away for close to 10 years. 7y
Reviewsbylola That happened to me too! I lost a YM magazine and they wanted me to pay a ridiculous price. Once I got married I got a new card under my married name. 😂 They did away with fines about a year ago but it didn‘t wipe out any existing fines. 7y
tysephine @Reviewsbylola luckily for me, a friend of mine told me that our system resets itself after 3 years so all inactive users are deleted, including their fines. I never did pay that $25 fine lol 7y
