Read this wayyyyy back in the 80s and loved it, like all his books. The only thing I really remember about it was the MC conned two pro chess players when she agreed to play them both at the same time but in different rooms of a cruise ship. She'd take the move from one game, cross the ship to other game, play the move and then use that counter move back at the first game. My little teeny-bopper mind 🤯
