1. I can‘t stand editing/proofreading mistakes that pull me out of the story. (Example: a character uses a nickname the whole book and suddenly is called by his full name for no reason.)

I had never truly thought l'd read The History of Middle-Earth. But it looks like this is exactly what it's about to happen with my awesome #YearOfTolkien fellow readers 😆
My Tolkien books arrived today so I‘m set for the next portion of our readalong! I used a gift card to order this used box set of the first 5 books of The History of Middle Earth and, although the box is a little banged up, the books look like new. I‘ve wanted these for a while, but it took this reading adventure to actually add them to my library. 📚 😁
