A long sunny run done so now I can take some time with my journal, a tea, and a good Swashbuckler ING book (I love that style but need to remember how it is called in English, for once 'de cape et d' épée' is more visual ;))

🎧 Falcio, Kest & Brasti are back for a 2nd adventure.

I loved it!! More swashbuckling good times! The Heir has been found. Evil villains need to be protected. Falcio is still slowly dying. Some more character development! People to love, people to hate!

Humor, high jinx, swearing & lots of blood, torture & death! Another awesome installment! I can‘t wait to read book 3! A Little Hatred meets the Three Musketeers! Recommendation!

So this is quickly turning into one of my favourite fantasy series! Full of action, endearing characters, political intrigue, and sacrifice. It gets dark and tough decisions are made, but the humour and the friendship between the characters shine through. A great series so far! #bookspinbingo @TheAromaofBooks

My first weekly check-in for #BFC21 I'm keeping up with the various reading challenges I'm doing so far. And - although I didn't set this as a goal - I'm chuffed I haven't ordered any Food Panda this week! From now on, I'm going to alternate yoga with walking - with working remotely until (probably) the end of February, I need to get myself outside whenever possible. @wanderinglynn

Spaces 22-25 are reserved for #whatthedickens buddy read of Bleak House. Phew 😅 busy reading month ahead!

Always love diving back into Castell's book, the characters, the plot and the twists are superior.

Straight to book 3 ??

Before King Paelis was killed, he called each and every one hundred forty four Greatcoats, and he gave each of them secret command, and they mustn't reveal it to anyone.
Here's King Paelis' command for Brasti 😂😂

Out of the three, my favorite character would be Brasti. He's a killer with a bow, he's the joy of the group, and he looks so cool in the cover.
I think they are so good together because each of them are broken in their own way, and Brasti hates Knights above all else. Well, in Knight's Shadow Brasti gets a little serious streak after Carefal Massacre.

Diving right back to Castell's universe seems like greeting an old friend. Falcio, Kest and Brasti continue their effort to put the King's bastard on the throne. After the battle of Rinjou, people start to hear about Greatcoats again, and the rumor says the Greatcoats are taking up arms against the Duchy.

Even though I am terrible at navigating Litsy, I am so happy that I am part of it. When you follow cool people that recommend books, you jump on it! Loved Traitor‘s Blade and am right back in the story with the second book! I can‘t remember which person it was, but thank you!!

how is this series not more popular?! it's so damn good! the dialogue and work and politics and characters...the characters FLOOR me!

A blanket, snacks, drinks, a handful of books and comics...some tunes...if I'm not working or not at the cabin it's a good bet this is where I can be found all summer long. ♥️😍♥️

I'm a cook in a restaurant and after New Years Eve this is our busiest night of the year.

Not that I mind, those moms God damn deserve a night of fine wine and good eats after all they've been through!

Starting off the new year with this one! I love this series--such fast reads with great characters. I'm finding it hard to put this down!

Absolutely loving this series! High adventure, tons of laughs and some of my favorite characters. I especially love Brasti. 😍

Brasti has the best lines so far! 😂

This is the fantasy Three Musketeers 😀 Second in the series, first 100 pages I thought nothing was happening! The rest of the book doesn't stop with twists and turns until the end! Good stuff 😊
