Like…I‘m sure there are people out there who will like this but... The prologue was so good! What happened!? Characters disappear and are then mentioned later in the book like you‘re supposed to know/care. The plot was disjointed. The big twist was…meh…Characters who didn‘t even have anything to do with the plot are main characters. I wanted to like this, I really did. But I think the *idea* was better than the execution. 🤷🏻‍♀️

BarbaraBB I‘m intrigued by the photo! 3y
AshleyHoss820 @BarbaraBB It‘s Resurrection Cathedral in Tirana, according to Google! I *think* it‘s the right Tomb of Christ featured in the book. This book has SO MUCH PROMISE, but it just fell flat in the end. 😒😕 (edited) 3y
BarbaraBB That is interesting. In Albania! I‘m not tempted to read the book though! 3y
AshleyHoss820 @BarbaraBB I don‘t blame you! 😄 3y

While I'm happy to have gotten this one off my TBR and thankful that it also marks off #Albania for #ReadingEurope2020, I'm also glad it's over. 😂

I picked this up cheap at a used bookstore because I loved The Exorcist. This was nothing like that book though, and I find it hard to believe it was even written by the same person. From the start, I was bored and just uninterested. Sadly, it never got any better. @Librarybelle @BarbaraBB

Librarybelle Sorry it was a dud, but yes, so good that it checked off a country from the list! 5y
BarbaraBB Great review though 😉. And kudos for finishing it! 5y
