This is not a time period I have read much about. It was really interesting to learn of this secret marriage. There was more romance to the story than I‘d expected. But it was still interesting. There were times that the story moved a bit slowly, though. I also can‘t say I really liked either main character, but I was still interested to read that this had happened at all.

Pickpick

Really enjoyed this historical novel of King George IV and his wife but not queen, Maria. A great weaving of historical truths with a story that kept me turning pages.
