So I know this is intended to be morally ambiguous on several levels, which it is, but I‘m not exactly disposed to be sympathetic to the plight of a grown man who feels he‘s being manipulated by an oversexualized teenager. I‘m fact, none of the characters came across as likable or overly sympathetic. And the slightly ambiguous ending left me cold. #NovelNovember @Andrew65

IndoorDame On the plus side I did get the dishes done for the first time all week. I feel great sympathy for my mother‘s generation stuck doing housework without audiobooks to keep them engaged. 2y

American Beauty vibes here. So awkwardly creepy yet I needed to know how it ended. Loved her writing style. Terrible decision making abounds (which is typically a deal breaker for me) but I couldn‘t stop reading. After moving into an expensive and gorgeous neighborhood, the perfect facade is marred once new relationships are tested. Cringe factor is high but still page turner-y!

Well that was a roller coaster of a novel. Although I do feel frustrated with the main character I still really enjoyed it. And it was nice having some time to just read.

Starting this one tonight. While I'm enjoying Patient H. M., I'm finding it difficult to read it for extended periods of time. The book is interesting, but upsetting so I need to break it up with some fiction.

This book is mesmerizing, thrilling, and utterly gripping. Characters are completely understandable and easy to identify with, but again I fear discussing their growth would divulge too much. This is my first time reading anything by Treick DeBoard but it most definitely will not be my last. Full review on www.novelgossip.com

Suspenseful read that I could not put down! Recommended for those who like a read like "Girl on the Train" or "The Guest Room". Net Galley find.
