Interesting novel, very controversial in Christian circles. I haven‘t seen the movie but remember the protests when it was released. Author imagines the human struggle of Jesus to accept his ministry and death. I haven't read this book so I was wondering if it's really considered Christian fiction? My library is on the conservative side so I can just picture the wrong person picking this book up and throwing a fit. 😒

Would like to read the book before seeing the movie, which I've heard is great. I think this might be the only Greek novel I own, though I'm usually pretty bad at keeping track of that sort of thing (I didn't even know it was Greek until I checked to see who the translator was).
