Born Naked | 
This has not been a good week for my devices. I somehow damaged the USB charging cable for my Kindle and cracked my iPad case earlier in the week. This afternoon, I went to grab my Kindle Fire (2015) and its ridiculously expensive leather case came apart in my hands, leaving a sticky residue on my fingers. A (cheap) replacement should be here Tuesday. **sigh** I will not buy a new one just for a fancy case. I will not buy a new one.
Samplergal Ugh. I hate breaking devices. My iPad looks like it survived a plane crash but I can still read with it. It‘s five years old.... waiting til it really dies. 7y

DGRachel @Samplergal @Eyelit Fortunately, it‘s just case and charger troubles, really. Much less expensive to replace cases than devices. I‘m really just whining because my devices are both 3-4 years old, so I can‘t get the really nice cases for them anymore. #firstworldproblems 😂 7y

tournevis @LibrarianRyan My husband's iPad case was broken forever but he kept it until the iPad wouldn't stay in the case. And then he waited until Boxing Day before considering buying another case. 7y

rwmg I am furious because the main screen button on my ipod 5 has broken and I was told yesterday it's irreparable because they don't make the parts any more. Fortunately it was on my music when this happened so i can still use it for listening to music but everything else is lost. 7y

DGRachel @Cathythoughts I bought a special “readers edition” bundle in 2015, and it came with the Fire HD 8, a year of Kindle Unlimited, and a leather case. The case on its own retailed for $80 or thereabouts. I would never Have ordered it on my own (I think it‘s insane to spend that much on a case), but I loved it. Did not love the rubber edging peeling off, which is what happened yesterday. 😩 7y
