pickThis is the best of the novellas. There are a couple that have strong connections to this one and it really helps to explain how John Charming sees the world, himself, and his role in keeping the world safe from creatures/ people that step over the line. He's essentially helping to maintain the Pax Arcana in his own way (he explains how we sees it in one of the books but the novellas help to make it all work).
