When I read my first book by Heather Gudenkauf I knew I would definitely be reading more of her books. Picked this old library book up at Goodwill the other day for less than a dollar. Big score 🏆

A social worker charged with child negligence? A ten-year old left alone? What do Ellen and Jenny have in common?
The common thread has built a beautifully written story by Ms. Gudenkauf. It deals with social services from the adult and the child's side and what can easily happen both good and bad.

Day 5 #Flowers - I love Heather‘s writing style and have read every book she wrote. I can‘t wait to pick up her latest mystery/thriller “Before She Was Found” releasing this April 16. 🌺

I thought it was pretty good. It‘s about how one simple mistake almost ruined a family‘s life. It is dual perspective and also features a 10 year old girl. For me, the story was well written and pretty easy to get through.
I finally found a book I‘m gonna stick with. The last 2 I tried, I ended up DNFing.
Trigger warning!! Have any of you read this book? I am one third of the way through and it is sad. I‘ve shed more than one tear already. Does it get better? Should I continue it or does it get worse? I hope you all don‘t mind be posting book blurbs with pictures of my bookmarks. :/
Three hours of driving to family equals three hours of audiobooks. I‘ll take what I can get.
Just received some of these gorgeous larger pieces to work on this weekend while listening to this audiobook. Feel free to message me on my Etsy if you‘d like me to make a custom order for you before I post them on my shop! :)
