pickI am liking that the series is heading now back into the crime investigation as the focus. Ending seemed like a bit of a rush job, but it was good.
so-soI was enjoying following Scarpetta and her comrades. Now, it feels like I‘m getting too much detail about processing evidence and less about the actual crime. Patricia repeated herself a LOT in this one and I can honestly say I have NO IDEA when the main perp from other books, came into play. He all of a sudden was just included, leaving me quite confused. Hopefully the series gets more interesting again!

This one was a bit of a let down, too much talking not enough action
so-soBook 17 in the series and it actually wasn't a total disaster 😂 I much preferred it to the last book and now I'm not so sure whether to bail on the series. The Scarpetta obsession was toned down a bit in this one👍🏻Although I do wish some of these murderers were successful when they target her 🤣

so-soI've had this book for about 3 years and just finished reading. It just took so long to get going that I kept giving up. I probably tried reading it about 5 or 6 times before I got through it. It's not bad just really slow.
