After a slow start, when I almost shelved, it suddenly came to life and I found myself deep in Louisiana and boats!
Some of the detail went over My head as it was about machinery and boats and stuff but obviously very well written.

This copy is published by a local publisher who selects unde celebrated and well written books which have a strong sense of place.
I found it in a charity shop and thus had to buy!
