pickWasn‘t sure if I‘d like this but after reading this book, I‘d say it rocks! Great strong character cast and development. Plus magic! Really liked the way the author incorporated things like runes and history into the story. Also loved the textbook format as it was very unique and I found the little tidbits on the pages interesting. Overall, good read; check it out!
Interesting so far. I like the take on the war for sorcery so far. Let‘s see if Owen has what it takes.:)

It has everything I didn‘t know I needed and missed. Love Harry Potter? Here! Learn sorcery, but without wands! 😃
It also has the feel of Percy Jackson‘s spunk and humor and with the magical hand movements of Doctor Strange (read it and you‘ll understand 😎)
It‘s honestly so good and all I want now is a sequel and a movie! 🤩

so-so#ARC #NetGalley For a young reader this is a pick for sure, it's funny and entertaining, but for an adult reader I think it's a so-so reading. I mean, it's not bad, and fun is fun, but it could have been something more, there are some things that are not quite well done, but all in all it's enjoyable.

Requested this from netgalley this morning and got the approval email this afternoon. I'm around 70 pages in and enjoying it so far. It's a bit different in format than most novels but it works for the story. Oh, and did I mention the snarky spell book? Cause there's a snarky spell book and I love it! 😃😃😃
