pickI was glad that I finally read this book. To be honest I decided to read it now because Margaret Atwood mentioned it in her MasterClass. I also like that I finally know the full tale of Ali Baba and the 30 Thieves. I enjoyed knowing folktales that have influenced terms we still use today. It can be brutal at times, but that is expected in historical folktales.
pickI think this was a pretty abridged version of Arabian Nights. I liked it, but I definitely would like to read a more extensive version.

✨I found the most wonderful bookstore in downtown Omaha today. It was like walking into a dream.. and the used book smell. I was in heaven. I also went here after spending two hours in Barnes and Noble, so there's that. 🙈😆
✨They had a copy of Arabian Nights that I wanted sooo bad, but it was a little pricey. 😢
