pickSean is a fairly complex guy who hides behind a very posh shield. Lucy is a free spirit who hides a lot of inadequacy. While this starts as a fling, both are not sure what will happen if they let it become more. Once again I am swooning over an emotionally intelligent guy in a romance novel and it makes me so happy.
pickPenny Reid never fails me and her collaboration with L.H. Cosway doesn‘t disappoint either! There is humor, awkwardness, heat, and a sweet love story all rolled up in a one-sitting book. I couldn‘t put it down, even though it‘s way past my bedtime. The H/h are great characters and, as always, the secondary cast is spectacular. Absolutely delightful.
pickI was reluctant to read this because the hero is an utter ass in book 1, which I disliked for other reasons as well. But there‘s a good redemption arc and it‘s always funny to see a hero who has to be trained to be less clueless in the sack. The heroine is a bit of a doormat when it comes to her family and needs a therapist but manages to get her shit together. Set in NYC but with some Dublin thrown in since it‘s about Irish rugby #romantsy
