I‘m early to bed and early to rise, but when you live in a multi-family house and your neighbors don‘t know how to use doors quietly? There is no #MorningGlory in that. I was over it when a door slammed below my bedroom and woke me up this morning. Yep. Somebody‘s got a case of The Monday‘s!

Captivatedbybooks My neighbors on one side scream. They dont talk normal everything is a scream and the younger child who‘s like 11 now just screams bloody murder at all hours of the day 7y

Captivatedbybooks @Cinfhen after 3 yrs of them moving in sadly im use to it but not gonna lie i still jump from time to time. I just dont get it. Cant they talk like normal people with their inside voice?! 7y

Hooked_on_books Mine went charging out the door when it was raining this weekend…then stopped in their tracks halfway out when they realized how wet it was. Love those dogs! 🐶💙 7y

so-so

This was not what I'd hoped it would be. I love Dillard's essays and nature writing, but these "found" poems just didn't jive together the way I expected. Someone else may love it, though.

I love Annie Dillard's nonfiction and teach her a lot in AP Lang. I was happy to find this volume of "found" poetry at my favorite used bookstore. And it makes me love Dillard even more.
