I‘m early to bed and early to rise, but when you live in a multi-family house and your neighbors don‘t know how to use doors quietly? There is no #MorningGlory in that. I was over it when a door slammed below my bedroom and woke me up this morning. Yep. Somebody‘s got a case of The Monday‘s!

This was not what I'd hoped it would be. I love Dillard's essays and nature writing, but these "found" poems just didn't jive together the way I expected. Someone else may love it, though.

Man, Annie Dillard and her found poetry.
I love Annie Dillard's nonfiction and teach her a lot in AP Lang. I was happy to find this volume of "found" poetry at my favorite used bookstore. And it makes me love Dillard even more.
