He was passing by, she kissed him without thinking. Now she wonders whether she did the right thing. But Natalie isn't certain of anything anymore. One minute she was a happily married young woman, successful in her career, and convinced the future was full of promise. But when her husband was run over by a car, her whole world was turned upside down. Years later, still bruised with grief but desperate to move on with her life, she impulsively kisses her colleague Markus. For Natalie, the kiss is just a gratuitous act. For the awkward, unassuming Markus, it is the moment at which he falls hopelessly, helplessly in love. But how will he ever convince such a beautiful, intelligent but confused young woman that he is the man who can bring her back to life?

C'est un super livre! Facile à lire, et surtout très intéressant: je le recommande à toute personne ayant besoin d'un conseil sur la vie :)
C'est bizarre dit comme ça, mais il faut le lire pour comprendre ;)

Well written with humour and attention to details. It‘s a light French comedy in fact. I enjoyed it. I thought the portrayal of love, falling in love were very arresting and original, quite subtle. Delicate in fact. Distillation délicate du sentiment amoureux.

Young, beautiful widow finds love again with ugly man. Natalie is smart, sweet, sexy and has amazing hair. At her wedding her husband took her outside in the rain and had sex with her in the mud (which she enjoyed) .On her first date after her husband died the man ordered for her(which she did not mind) I think that the author has never met a real live woman and if he has met a woman like this we need to start a go fund me campaign to save her.

Smrloomis 😂 honestly this sounds terrible! 6y
Wilkie @Smrloomis it won a lot of literary prizes in France🧐🧐.I think a lot of it‘s charm might be lost in translation. 6y
Smrloomis @Wilkie hmm, interesting 🤔 perhaps something was lost in the translation - who knows. 6y
Wilkie @Smrloomis or the jury members were all men... 6y
