Something poetic to start the day. #bookandtea
Trying to catch up on some long-overdue reviews. I finished this at the end of July—a lovely little fairy tale from Lois Lowry (who‘s always good!). It‘s a sweet story of a young “bestower of dreams,” as she learns to gather and give dreams (and combat nightmares) for a lonely woman and a hurting young boy. Lowry weaves together the “fairy” story and the human story, exploring pain and healing along the way. I loved this.
☹️ 13 people got laid off at my work on Monday, a big hit in a workplace with ~140 employees. The coworker I talk with about books the most was among the 13.😢
😊 Dinner plans with good friends tomorrow—but I guess that‘s not next week yet! Next week is my last week of work before 2 weeks of vacation.

📖 Tagged—a sweet fairy story by Lois Lowry, for which I still need to write a review (so behind on my Litsy reviews!)
