marleed So last Saturday I hosted a Socially distanced Thanksgiving for my 2 kids, nephew and their spouses. Dessert was outside- s‘mores around a fire pit. All the s‘more parts were prepared for toasting. They came inside without leftovers. My son stepped out to collect the goods - too late. A possum was running across my backyard with a plastic bag full of plastic bags of chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers! 4y

When I opened the book, it was a chapter book with visuals, and I thought that was interesting.
Appleblossom is a possum that is full of curiosity. However, she is considered the “runt“ in her family because of her size. When she fell down a chimney by accident, she discovered the dogs and humans. Because she was kept safe for years, Appleblossom stayed with the humans while his brothers try saving her.
