It's 3 stars for "The People at Number 9". It kept me entertained for a few days on the train, but I wasn't wowed by the story and felt let down by the promise of a creepy plot full of suspense when all we really got was domestic fiction.

Head over to my blog to see my full review! ?

Ashley85 I started this a year ago and still haven‘t finished it 😬 6y
Stephjones01 Totally agree I read an ARC and was hugely disappointed. I was surprised that so many people enjoyed it 6y

I struggled to stay involved with this one. I was waiting for something to happen, but I stuck with it. A good telling of unhealthy relationships between both friends and couples, but I needed some more to happen. 🌟🌟🌟

Pickpick

Not as dark or gripping as the blurb suggested but a reasonably enjoyable read about relationships and toxic friendships.

Chelleo Ohhh. Stacking this for #litsybythenumbers #nine #lbtn9 7y

I was searching for a #nine idea for #NovemberbytheNumbers and not finding anything and this appeared in my email. Has anyone read it? Any good?

Unfortunately my home was impacted by Hurricane Harvey. My family and I were able to get out safely. Of course we had to leave my precious book babies behind 😫. Books have always been a relief and an escape for me especially in stressful times. Thank goodness for e-readers! #hurricaneharvey #ereader #thankful #blessed

Bklover Oh no! Hopefully you and your family have found somewhere safe to stay. ❤️❤️ 7y

Maybe my expectations were too high, but I wasn't overly impressed by this book. It was an okay read but I found the protagonist, Sarah, got on my nerves and I had a hard time getting past it.
