So much was brought up in this volume, and lots of new characters were introduced, humans and ghouls both. More connections between the past and present are revealed, and the battle for who will survive begins.
I will be sad when this series is over. It is such a great story.

pickI gave this three stars on Goodreads, but I can't bring myself to give it the So-So rating here. I wasn't as into this volume as I was all the previous ones because it felt like its sole purpose was to build up to events in the final volume of this particular series. (Tokyo Ghoul:re is the sequel series.) So, nothing new and exciting seemed to happen. I'm excited for volume 14, though!!
