so-soThat was as fun & trope-y as the first! The characters were especially delightful — particularly Olivia, Em‘s utterly lunatic sister. She was a formidable — and yet slightly sympathetic — antagonist throughout, & I can‘t wait to see what she throws out next. Otherwise, the plot & the setting were as simple & ridiculous as the first, but I enjoyed anyway. A quick, easy, silly fantasy read. ★★★☆☆.

pickSince it didn't like the end of Ruined, I was pleasantly surprised to find this to be a really enjoyable read. Looking forward to seeing how things wrap up.
pickOh man, Olivia is such a good crazy bitch. I love Kaz and Em but the villains are so freaking amusing to watch. Olivia is a full-blown psycho and it's amazing to see how she justifies everything.
Sometimes I find barriers to relationships kind of annoying in books but I really like how it tugs Kaz and Em towards and away from each other. I'm super excited for the conclusion and the betrayal to come...and Amy Tintera is now an instant buy
I'm loved Ruined and with reading this...I'll be caught up on the trilogy! I love the continuity of the cover designs and am super interested to see how the star-crossed romance is going to go...and Olivia and Jovita gave a really "I'm gonna go power hungry" vibe so that'll be interesting to follow.
Book delivery one of two today: Avenged! I absolutely loved the first book and I'll read this within the next week or two
Ruined was SO AMAZING so I can't wait to dive into the sequel!
