So thankful I got to hear her story, straight from her, and I got to hug her and say thank you. PTSD is not a joke, it's horrible, it's raw, and it's very much real. Let's change the stigma

As a paramedic, we see the worst of the worst. Whether it be something that we don't feel is really an emergency, it is in their eyes, or it really is something that we can even fathom and keeps us awake at night. This lady is a Ontario Paramedic, and I couldn't be more honoured to read and hear her story of her struggles with PTSD and her mental health. You are not alone, and it's okay to be not okay ❤🚑
