ofbooksandme I'm so happy that it got there in only one box! Next time we can actually prepare and send our packages without using Amazon hahaha 7y

Braved the snow to retrieve a critical item for the #easterbasketbookswap .... thought I had tons of this stuff leftover from moving a few months ago but apparently I made that up because nope!

“Ideal bubble protection for fragile and important items” !!!

Guess whose box is in the mail? (Actually, it‘s a box and a supplemental envelope because I packed the box and sealed it without one thing in it and the box was too full to reopen and add. I‘m such a numpty!) @Mitch @JoeStalksBeck #easterbasketbookswap

JoeStalksBeck Wooo! 7y
Mitch Oh oh oh - *big smile*! 7y

There‘s a tiny bunny sitting under a bush outside the bedroom window. I don‘t know if it‘s the same one from a couple months ago or a different one, but Kili is very excited. (No picture because the angle is bad so that all you can see are the dirty windows.) I‘m trying to organize paperwork and knickknacks, while he‘s knocking things off the dresser and his tail is thwacking against the wall like a drumstick.

erinreads 😹😹😹 We live on the 7th floor with no balcony, so my cat gets no interaction with wildlife. He‘d probably lose his mind! 7y
Susanita @erinreads Cats are so amusing. 😸 7y

Littens, I did zero reading today as today was spent with family for Easter. I'm pretty tired so I don't think I'll get in more than a couple pages tonight so I'll leave you with the pic of our crowd getting ready for our first ever grown up egg hunt. It was intense. I didn't win--but it was fun. Hope everyone had a good day.

LauraBeth A grown up hunt - how fun! 8y
CocoReads We have less kids than we used to so I guess it's time for the "adults" to get in the spirit of things. I don't have a competitive nature but I still managed to get 31 eggs. The winner found 45. 8y

Songsofhome Before my sis and i had children, my mother still hid our eggs and gifts, and we all (sister and two brothers + partners) chased them in pijamas! My husband was like *wtf* at first, but than the competition animal in him took over lol! 8y
CocoReads @Songsofhome great memory! Sounds like our families are similar. 8y
Kaye Sorry I just saw this now. 2 years later. Looks like fun. I bet you had to find some tricky hiding spots for adults ! 6y
CocoReads @kaye yes, it gets tricky, but there‘s lots of places in the trees and woodpiles. We‘ve gone to adult egg hunts because for the most part, we don‘t really have little anymore. My niece is 17 and so unless my cousins come with their kids we don‘t have anyone younger than 17. But even then, there‘s only 3-4 little kids. 6y
